    This mural was developed on community-based art practices that engage a community regarding their history, identity, and visions for their future.

  • Creating Calm: Ode to B Magic (Harold B. Batie), 2023

    Located in Gainesville Florida at Fire Station, #4. This mural was sponsored and commissioned by the non for profit organization Release: which focuses on creating connections with incarcerated youth and their communities. Collaborating with founder Emily Westerholm, as a liaison between the group. From their chosen symbols representing the spirit of their role model, I created the mural that was unveiled with family and friends present honoring the legacy of local hero "B Magic".

  • I SOAR AS AN EAGLE, 2024

    Sponsored by P.T.A. Idylewild Elementary, Alachua County School District. A Mural to inspire students to aspire for Greatness with no limits.

    The mural design was inspired and created for students to focus on the goal of their educational goals. The mascot is an eagle, with the focus on the wings being a symbol to represent flying high to reach their dreams. Students pose in front of the wings with family and friends.

    This community mural project focused to recreate an existing mural on the exterior of the city hall in Historic Hawthorne, FL.

    Elements of the mural indicating historical landmarks and figures in the original composition will be maintained. Promoting collective memory, positive interaction, and communal identity from a positive perspective

  • Heritage Interrupted: A True Story of Gentrification and a Legacy Lost Porters Quarters Gainesville FL., 2021

    This mural is viewed as a historical communal timeline showing the transitions the Black community of Ports Quarters community experienced during segregation, integration, and finally, gentrification, which is affecting the integrity and cultural preservation of it’s rich culture and history,

    Irete Meji: The Iyaamis Have Landed is a mural sponsored by the city of Gainesville Arts & Culture initiative 352WALLS. The image is based on folklore from the African diaspora.

  • Recipes of Belonging #1 West Africa

    Another panel mural: Commissioned by immigrant Neighbor Inclusion Intiative and Flavorful catoring Service. This first panel is based upon two out of five chefs featured. West African cuisine is the focus with elements of the ingredients that could go into local cuisine as well the architecture indicating the ethnic influences and region, as well as the geographic spaces that still reflect an African influences.
